3rd Annual Hidden Heroes Award Ceremony

The 3rd Annual Hidden Heroes Awards ceremony took place on Sunday, November 20 at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem. The 2011 winners are:Deborah Bial, President and Founder, Posse Foundation; Yusuf Burgess, Family Intervention Specialist, Green Tech High Charter School; Susan Retik, President and Co-Founder, Beyond the 11th and The Rev. Nicholas S. Richards, President, The Abyssinian Fund. Mayor David Dinkins was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
